Wij deden de tour om 13u en we hebben 5 luiaards gezien, 2 leguanen, heel veel soorten vogels, veel kleurrijke kikkertjes, een uil en 2 capibara’s!🥹🦥
Alles was heel goed geregeld en de activiteiten na de tour waren ook heel leuk!
Lekkere tortilla’s en een fris vers suikerriet-sapje.
10/10 van ons!

This property is being reclaimed and managed by the owners to accentuate wildlife. We had a fantastic tour of the property with Sergio. We saw multiple sloth individuals, 2 and 3 toed. Sergio spent a lot of time explaining sloth biology. We also saw many bird species, bats, and iguanas. At the end of the tour, we had fresh squeezed sugar cane juice. I can highly recommend the tour. I enjoyed it so much and our guide, David, was so knowledgeable and provided detailed insights into sloths, birds, frogs, plants etc. We saw about seven sloths including a juvenile. He took photos for us using his telescope. The sugar cane juice and the selfmade tortillas with desert was so delicious. It was an excellent experience! It was wonderful! The family was so nice, sweet and funny. The day walk was very interesting and we learned so much! We were only 6 people in one tour, very comfortable. Wow….what a great couple of hours. It was my favorite by far!  We started off with David, our guide. He was amazing!  He taught us so much about sloths, birds, iguanas, plants, etc. He was so knowledgeable and had pictures and videos to also show us. We saw about 6 sloths!  He took pictures for you through his telescope he had. It was amazing!
After the tour we then went and saw sugar cane. We got to put it through the crank and squeeze out the juice. It was so good.

Wonderful place! Everyone who works here is so friendly, and the property is beautiful. You only have to walk a matter of meters to spot sloths, bats, reptiles and all kinds of wildlife. Our guide Sergio was amazing and so knowledgeable. Especially loved the bit at the end where you get to see sugar cane being juiced and then make your own tortilla and have a delicious little snack. We really enjoyed this nature tour in La fortuna, we went on a wonderful walk around the reserve, we saw frogs, birds, butterflies, bats and lots of sloths. Our fantastic tour guide David found many opportunities to show us the wildlife through the telescope, he helped to capture pictures through the telescope on our phones and throughout the tour he shared interesting facts. Lastly, they include a fun cooking class, we made tortillas and sugarcane juice. We enjoyed making the juice with a traditional sugarcane press and eating our tortillas.
