It may be more zoo-like with its well groomed pathways but the animal corridor that passes through the reserve provided ample opportunity to see species. We saw more sloths than any other tourist I heard from in my time in La Fortuna, along with numerous other species. The ending drink of sugar cane and tortilla making was a very nice end to the tour. The price was also much more reasonable than other places.
kellie ranco2024-04-22Sergio is an amazing guide! Lots of knowledge and kind toboth adults and kids. He let everyone take thier time and take pictures. This isn't a sancutary so they cant guarentee how many sloths we would see, but we were lucky and the guides knew where to look so we saw over 5. The snacks at the end (especially the homemade hot sauce) was delicious. Thank you guys

The sugarcane pressing and tortilla making was a great part, leading to a nice lunch with juice. Highly recommend.
